Rethinking Resilience-Based Development through Strategic Philanthropy in the Arab Region: A Regional Perspective
Rethinking resilience in response to challenges like unemployment, limited access to quality education, and socio-economic barriers demands flexible, forward-looking approaches grounded in cross-sector collaboration. To sustain and scale impact, it is essential to unlock nontraditional, alternative financing and align public, private, and philanthropic actors, mobilizing resources, sharing knowledge, and implementing locally tailored strategies.
Based on the first AGF-UNDP Thought Leadership Series workshop, held in Amman, this report marks a key step toward co-creating resilience-based solutions across the region.
