MoU With The Dubai Government HR Department To Empower Emirati Youth

The Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education and the Dubai Government Human Resources Department signed an MOU for the upskilling of UAE national youth, providing a framework for coordination and facilitating cooperation between the two entities on a non-exclusive basis and in areas of mutual interest to support young people in their transition from education to entry into the labour market and employment.

Under the MOU, the Department will nominate national students for training through Al Ghurair Young Thinkers Program during which the youth’s competencies will be trained and developed, and will contribute to the preparation and rehabilitation of Emirati students through training and development programs, workshops and advisory services offered online.

Commenting on the MOU signing, Maysa Jalbout, CEO of the Abdulla Al Ghurair Education Foundation said: “The partnership with Dubai Government Human Resources Department and the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education is a testimony to the Foundation’s commitment to supporting young people in the UAE. Through the Al Ghurair Young Thinkers Program, an integrated online program, youth in the UAE will gain the opportunity to improve their skills and learn about potential careers in line with their individual needs and the requirements of the UAE’s current and future labour market.”
